Our founder and Group CEO, Abbas graduated from the University of Reading with a BSc in Food Marketing and Economics. Whilst at university, he dove headlong into the luxury hospitality sector, building seafood-led foodservice businesses from the ground up, travelling the world and building a robust, far-reaching network. Operating his first foodservice company in London from 2001 and in Dubai in 2007, he is passionate about premium produce and ‘above and beyond’ customer service. An ambitious blue-sky-thinker, Abbas is the driving force behind our adventurous expansion. Based out of our Monaco office, where he owns and operates other businesses in addition to Reach, he remains hands on and works closely with the senior leadership team at Reach.

After qualifying as a chef, Mark worked in restaurants and hotels in England before moving to the supply side of the HORECA industry. He is an accomplished foodservice professional with over 20 years’ experience building operational infrastructure and driving sales growth. Mark has a strong record of delivering reform across the value chain for warehousing, logistics, accounting and supply chain, facilitating business expansion and improving efficiency and controls. Leading all operational teams across Europe and the Middle East, Mark is a key figure in realising Reach Food Group’s goals.

With an MBA in Strategy from Cass Business School, Carl has 16+ years of seafood industry experience including a 3 year stint at Seafish. He has a forensic understanding of supply chains and leads our UK team from the front. He has a keen interest in ethics, responsibility and sustainable value chains. Carl brings with him a wealth of financial and organisational knowhow along with the passion and drive to align our growth and our goals.

A familiar face in the Pan-Asian fine dining market, Vennessa brings over 15 years of industry expertise and relationships. As Commercial Director, she leads sales operations, guides procurement strategy, and supports communications initiatives. She has also successfully developed and account managed a portfolio of key clients, including prominent premium chains and Michelin starred restaurants. Vennessa holds an Honours Degree, and speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin. Her commercial leadership is built around a strong work ethic, business acumen and customer-centric approach.
